WHAT DO ROOF LANTERN BLINDS COST?
Posted on 29 September 2022 by Phil Coleman
We are getting asked more and more: What do roof lantern blinds cost?
Several aspects will affect the cost of your roof lantern blind.
Firstly the type of blind you would like for your roof lantern. There are generally 2 types offered by most blind companies, pleated and roller blinds.
The second is the size of your roof lantern. Larger roof lanterns need a more heavy-duty and robust system compared to smaller lanterns.
For more information on the blind types and how they differ please read https://www.barlowblinds.com/roof-lantern-blinds
Thirdly how do you want to operate your blind? The pleated roof blinds are manually operated with a pole, roller blinds are manually operated with a gearbox and winding handle (don’t worry both the pole and handle are detachable). Both systems can also be motorised, so your blind is controlled by a remote control. Haven’t got power up there? Again don’t worry some systems are battery-powered with a solar panel charger.
So let’s look at the options

Our most popular blind for roof lanterns. Good selection of fabrics, some with reflective coating to reduce heat. The downside is there are size limitations (maximum width of 1800mm, but you could have 2 side by side)
The prices below are what we would charge to supply and install these blinds in Leicestershire, and may vary depending on where you are.
